What we collect on this website, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

2. At a glance

  • We only collect what we need to respond to you and improve the website.
  • We never sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own use.
  • No analytics or marketing cookies are set without your consent. You can change your choices at any time.

3. How we process data

Contact form

  • Data: last name, first name, company, work email, preferred callback time, and a description of your needs.
  • Purpose: to respond to your request and, where relevant, present our solutions.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in following up with organizations that contact us.
  • Recipients: the EKILOG team responsible for responding to you. Requests are sent by email to our mailbox and are not stored on the website.
  • Retention: three years from our last interaction.

Cookieless audience measurement

  • Tool: Independent Analytics, installed on our own server. No cookies are set, and no data is shared with third parties.
  • Data: pages viewed, referring website, device and browser type, and country. IP addresses are not stored.
  • Purpose: to understand website traffic and improve the website.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
  • Retention: up to 25 months.

Identifying visiting companies — with your consent

  • Tool: Tamtam, provided by Tamtam SAS (Paris), hosted in the European Union.
  • Data: pages viewed, visit duration, a device identifier, and technical browser signals, stored in your browser for the duration of the session; your IP address is used to determine the organization from which you are browsing.
  • Purpose: to understand which organizations are interested in our solutions, so we can serve them better.
  • Legal basis: your consent (“Marketing” category).
  • Retention: browser storage is cleared when you close the tab; visit information is retained by Tamtam for the term of our contract.

Website security

  • Tool: Wordfence, published by Defiant Inc. (United States).
  • Data: IP addresses and requests sent to the website, used to detect and block attacks. IP addresses identified as malicious may be shared with Defiant to help protect other websites.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the website and its visitors.
  • Transfer: to the United States, governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Retention: security logs are kept only as long as needed to detect attacks.

4. Processors

  • OVH SAS (Roubaix) — website hosting, in France.
  • Microsoft — business email service receiving your requests, hosted in the European Union.
  • Tamtam and Defiant, under the conditions described above.

5. Cookies and trackers

Details of the cookies and trackers we use are available in our cookie policy. Your choice is stored for six months. You can change or withdraw it at any time using the Manage cookies link at the bottom of every page. Declining has no impact on your browsing experience.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data; the right to object, including to direct marketing; the right to withdraw your consent at any time; and the right to set instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) — cnil.fr, 3, place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

7. Security

The website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Access to the administration area is restricted and protected. Data is hosted in France and the European Union, except for the transfers mentioned above.

8. Changes

This policy may change, for example if we add a new service to the website. The date of the latest update appears below.
